I love to share my passion for Chinese Medicine through teaching and writing. I teach an ongoing series of online classes on yangsheng, the ‘healthy lifestyle’ teachings of Chinese Medicine, which included classes on diet, sleep hygiene, the emotions, living with cycles of nature, and strengthening the immune system.

I received my Doctorate and Masters of Chinese Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts and am certified nationally through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition, I have a diploma from Xiantian College.

Passion and Purpose

For me, Chinese Medicine is more than a job, it is a vocation—that is, a calling.

My practice is oriented around classical methods of treatment, drawing on my continued studies of Daoist medicine. I have experience practicing Chinese Medicine in a number of different settings including in a Hospice Center as part of palliative care efforts, at a free community clinic for the homeless, a residential treatment center for teens recovering from addiction and in private sessions with clients.

I have over a decade of experience with Meditation practice in various different traditions and this heavily informs my practice of Chinese Medicine, which is historically linked to both Daoist and Buddhist traditions. I have practiced under the guidance of Theravada and Tibetan Buddhist teachers as well as teachers of southern and northern Daoist practice.

Training and Living in Bali, Indonesia

At the end of 2022 I closed my clinical practice and said goodbye to life in the US to move to Bali, Indonesia, pivoting my work to being fully online. I did this in order to train full-time with my teacher Damo Mitchell and his school Lotus Neigong International. At the school’s international center in Bali, I study the internal arts of Asia, focusing on Neigong, Taiji and continuing to deepen my skill in acupuncture.
