This practical, high-quality weekend tote bag features the face of an Abyssian Wolf, or Ethiopian wolf, also called the Simien jackal and Simien fox. This canine is native to the Ethiopian Highlands. In southeastern Ethiopia it is also known as the horse jackal. The Ethiopian wolf is the world's rarest canid, and a close relative of grey wolves and coyotes which colonized the Horn of Africa through land bridges. Ethiopian wolves are only found on the highlands of Ethiopia and are Africa's most threatened carnivore. Sadly, these beautiful creatures are highly endangered.
