Speckled Rainbowfish Coaster
This coaster features the luminous Dusky Wrasse Fish, also known as the Speckled Rainbowfish. From the Indo-Pacific, the Dusky Wrasse inhabits coral-rich lagoons and seaward reefs to depths of 30m (98ft), where it may be observed singly or in small groups. The colour of the Dusky Wrasse varies greatly, depending on sex, age, and mood. Juveniles and females are much more muted, compared to that of a mature male in full breeding dress - showing an array of dazzling peacock-like dusky green and blue colours interspersed with bold red markings, and a bright green crescent on the caudal fin. Juveniles, which are black with numerous longitudinal white streaks, are often encountered in outer reef flats. These fish feed mainly on small, hard-shelled prey including crustaceans and molluscs.
These coasters are a great means of upgrading home decor or adding character to any professional establishment. Made with a hardboard bottom for extra longevity, every coaster is assembled in the USA and is available in a single size: 3.5" x 3.5"
